When AI Makes Ordinary Life Feel Good

I have never been able to focus on work with AI. Whenever I work with an AI agent, I always tend to multitask. Maybe this is part of the lowest spectrum of ADHD, a part of myself that I can’t avoid.

It is not a pleasant feeling or experience to work with multiple agents. You can name a few best practices about how to work with AI. To some degree, they work. But what we can’t avoid is that they require high attention, which easily makes us very tired.

But then I feel something different after months of fatigue from working with AI. Doing a single boring task feels pleasant: washing dishes, cooking, sketching, working on hardware, or fixing hardware. These activities now bring great relief.

They don’t provide the frequent, unhealthy dopamine hits that LLMs do, but once the task is done, the sense of reward feels much greater. It has made me think more deeply and appreciate life more.
