Both of my parents are artists, especially my mother, who has an incredible ability to draw and paint almost anything with remarkable realism in many media. Growing up surrounded by their work inspired my love for art, and I was known as a good sketcher as a child. Even then, I never came close to the level of skill my parents had.
Although I dreamed of developing the same skills, I stopped drawing around the age of 10 as life took me in a different path.
Decades later, after becoming a father, I decided to rediscover that passion. Now I start my journey to develop the artistic skills I once left behind, to honor the inspiration my parents gave me, and, hopefully, to inspire my daughter to pursue her own creative passions.
